Where do you think?

When Micaela takes naps she likes to wear her "comfy" pants, and some days we don't get out of these comfy pants after nap. So the other day Josh came home from work and was planning on going to Home Depot as soon as I went to work. Josh asked her to change into her jeans and she said she didn't want to. But we kept insisting that she go into her room and change. She went into her room and didn't return. Finally after about 5 minutes, Josh went in there and said. "Where are your pants, Micaela"..she replied "Where do you think"! Josh came out of her room and I could tell he was trying not to laugh and I asked what she said.. "Where do you think!" We both couldn't keep from laughing. I could listen to her talk all day long - you just never know what she is going to say.

Ash Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday..anyone giving up anything good for lent this year? I have decided to give up chocolate (again) and all carbonated drinks. This is going to be very hard, but I know I can do it!!

This morning the kids and I went to church at 9am. It was quite a challenge for me, this is the first time I have taken both kids to church, alone. I think they did very well considering! At the end of mass the gentleman sitting next to us, said "You are supermom" I started laughing and said "Thank you". Good thing he isn't with us all the time...I am anything BUT super :)

Micaela's picture taking skills

Micaela always grabs my camera and tries to take pictures...usually its a close up of her face or the floor. So when she took these, I was impressed.

And then Taylor and mommy. I am embarassed to post this picture, but impressed she found us AND was able to snap the shot.

4 month check up for Taylor

Taylor is 4 months old now and he is getting soo big! He weighs 15.8 and is 25 inches which is 60 percentile for weight and 50th percentile in his height. He's a CHUNK! We have started him on rice cereal in hopes that he would sleep through the night, but it hasn't worked yet :( Right now he gets up twice in the night so hopefully he'll start to sleep a little longer! He also rolled over from his back to his front last weekend, he hasn't done it again of course. He is almost on his belly below but he can't get over his elbow.

He won't keep his hands out of his mouth long enough to even roll the rest of the way over. It is soo funny - it makes me laugh.

I love this picture. Micaela LOVES her little brother still, it's great. We were getting ready for bed and she wanted him to lay next to her while I sang her bedtime songs. He layed there and let her cuddle him until I was done. I can not wait until they are able to talk and play together...I hope they are best friends!
